Paris 2013

Since we slept just around the corner, it was at Shakespeare and Company's where we ended our evenings. We traveled light, on budget and on foot (well, except for the flying part and airport transfer, obviously). I gained one blister. It didn't stop me.

If I could get back my faith anywhere indoors on this planet, it would be in this 850 years old beauty. Inside or out, she beats them all. The picture was taken from our room window, thank you very much.

I didn't get any of these on 8th March, but I did get pizza and beer and the most lovely company in the most romantic city. Beat that, tulip!

Victorious, but beheaded. Head through the wall style. I am a fan.

Paris, Paris, Paris. Umbrellas over many, raindrops on few, grey sky over all.

A walk by Canal St. Martin. Wondering where exactly Amélie Poulain comes for her stone skipping sessions. Thinking about may things, also sad. This was my first trip from where I didn't send a postcard to my dear nona. She kept every single one of them. She used to call Ronja Rojna. I miss her so much I can't tell...

This trip was a birthday present for me from my dear friends and from Črt.
Thank you, thank you, thank you all.
I am such a lucky bastard.
